A few new images from a recent shoot with Zarra Cushing photography.
The shoot was part of Zarra’s Modern Day Siren’s project, and we shot in an abandoned quarry which was a great location and very atmospheric.
We shot a number of different looks throughout the day, starting with quite a simple ethereal look and building up to stronger, more heavily contoured looks, and finally adding a pop of colour with the bright orange eye make-up.

A few behind the scenes snaps from a shoot I had on Monday with a great team.
The look we were going for was very clean and minimalistic, with quite a 90’s feel to it.
I created two make-up looks for the shoot. The first was a very natural look, with the focus being on flawless skin and subtle contouring. I used lots of neutral tones and applied lots of fluttery individual lashes.
For the second look the aim was to create almost sore looking eyes, but still very beautiful and clean, so I applied a red cream product around the eyes. I also went for a stronger contour on the cheekbones to compliment the swept back hair.
Looking forward to seeing the final images!

I have recently received these images from a bridal accessories shoot I was involved in a little while back.
The shoot was for designer Elephtheria who was about to launch her new range of beautiful bespoke bridal accessories, including tiaras, hair bands, hair slides and belts.
The make-up look for the shoot was natural elegance, using very soft tones so create a pretty bridal look that wouldn’t detract attention from the accessories.

Another new image from my portfolio.
For this shoot I wanted to create a rainbow of metallic jewel tones on the eyes teamed with glossy, highlighted skin.

Some new images from a recent shoot.
We started off with some really clean, natural beauty, focussing on making the skin look flawless.
We then moved on to some more traditional portraits, just adding a little more colour and definition around the eyes.

Some new beauty work from a great shoot I did a little while back. The main focus of the shoot was on getting some macro beauty shots but we also did some full face shots.
This make-up was quite a last minute idea that was shot right at the end of the day. We had done lots of stuff with bright colours throughout the shoot and wanted to do something darker and more dramatic in contrast, so I created this look featuring glossy black and silver eyes and lips.

I have recently received these images from an editorial shoot I worked on a few months back.
The aim for the shoot was to create quite a sombre feeling and we were shooting on a very grey, cold day. This was the younger model, Natasha’s, first ever shoot, whilst the older model, Felicity, had quite a lot of experience, so we wanted to play on this dynamic by creating a feeling of vulnerability in Natasha’s images, with Felicity being a stronger, protective force.
I wanted the make-up to be striking but using muted tones to tie in with the landscape. I used browns on Natasha’s eyes to really bring out her incredible blue wolf eyes, and went for stronger greys and blacks on Felicity which better suited her skin tone and hair, and again showed her to be the stronger of the two. On both models I went for sculpted cheekbones and a nude lip.

Little peak at the make-up I did for a spring lookbook shoot last week, for designer Hayley Smith.
I wanted to create a youthful, fresh spring look that complemented Hayley’s designs without detracting attention from them.
With this in mind, I went for dewy skin, glossy lavender and gold eyes and glossy lips with just a hint of pink.
Products I used to get this look:
