The ‘fur’ comes in a little pot and is very easy to use.
All you have to do is paint each nail in a corresponding colour to the colour of the fur you are using, and whilst the nail varnish is still wet roll the nail into the pot. After about 30 seconds you can brush off the excess fluff. I found it helped to press down gently on each nail to help the fur adhere to the nail.
The effect is fun, fluffy textured nails. I was a little worried about how easily this would come off, but it was removed easily enough with normal nail varnish remover pads.
They are not the most practical and were starting to look grubby after half a day of being at work, but if you are looking for a fun, novelty nail effect then for just £3 this is great!

“Couture to the core, she’s bathed in colour to her fingertips. She doesn’t go anywhere without the finishing touch to her outfit: La Laque Couture.”
I got this YSL nail varnish as a gift for my birthday and painted my nails with it for the first time yesterday, and am pretty much in love with it. The more YSL products I try the more impressed I am becoming with them as a beauty brand overall!
The application was easy and flawless, the shape of the brush allows you to almost fill the nail with colour in one swipe, and then easily fill in the sides of the nails without making a mess on the skin around the nails.
The colour is intense and completely opaque after just one layer (not sure whether this would be the case for the paler colours as well but I’d guess so - the colour on my nails is Fuschia). There are 30 colours to choose from including classic shades and some more seasonal shades.
Now all that’s left to see is how long it lasts, and how well it can withstand the washing up!
